China and Myanmar are important neighboring countries to each other. The two nations have built friendly bilateral relationships, with long-term, stable and comprehensive cooperation since establishing diplomatic relations. In 2011, U Thein Sein administration took office, Myanmar’s transition began and China-Myanmar relations faced many challenges. The change of China-Myanmar relations is not only influenced by the factors in themselves, but also influenced by external factors, that is to say, great nation factors. After Myanmar’s transition, the great nations have begun to evaluate Myanmar again and adjusted their policy towards Myanmar because of its strategic value. The US regards Myanmar as a sally port of its "return to Asia-pacific" strategy and treats Myanmar with engagement policy. Japan cooperates with the US, again increasing investment and assistance to Myanmar, to extend its interests and expanse its influence. India regards Myanmar’s transition as an opportunity to implement its "look-east policy" and "India-pacific" strategy. An obvious purpose of the US, Japan and India to adjust their Myanmar-policy is to weaken China’s influence in Myanmar, which can bring an impact to China-Myanmar relations.The dissertation, on perspective of national interests, will analyze the influence the US, Japan and India have brought to China-Myanmar relations since Myanmar’s transition. The dissertation will discuss the adjusted Myanmar-policy of the US, Japan and India. Also it will use the theory of politics and history,on the basis of literature analysis method, to deeply analyze what influence the US, Japan and India have brought to China-Myanmar relations. We also pay attention to that the US, Japan and India all face some constraints to develop their relations with Myanmar.Finally, it is included that although China-Myanmar relations will be influenced by the US, Japan and India, China-Myanmar relations will not be essentially changed. Even so, China should take active measures to cope with the challenges which may occur in China-Myanmar relations under the new situations.
