On Liu Shaoqi 's Thought Of Maintaining The Party' S Pureness

Liu Shaoqi, as a Chinese proletarian revolutionary, statesman and theorist, made outstanding contributions to the casuse of the party and people during the period of new democratic revolution and socialist construction. His thought of keeping the party’s purity, as an important part of his party building thought, not only has important theoretical value, but also plays an important role in the construction of the Communist Party of China. Under new historical conditions, reviewing and discussing Liu Shaoqi’s thought of keeping the purity of the party thought, will not only deepens the understanding of the party building thought of Liu Shaoqi, but also has considerable realistic significance for Chinese Communist Party to keep the party’s advanced nature and purity.This article reviews Marx, Engels, Lenin, Mao Zedong’s ideologies on keeping the purity of the proletarian party, and uses it as a theoretical foundation of Liu Shaoqi’s thought of keeping the purity of the party. It analyzes preliminary formation, formation process, achievements and further improvements of three stages of Liu Shaoqi’s thought of keeping the purity of the party. It focuses on the main content of Liu Shaoqi’s thought of keeping the purity of the party from five aspects, which are the purity of the politics, the purity of ideology, the purity of organization, the purity of style, and keeping honesty and cleanliness of the party. On this basis, it points out the historical significance and contemporary value of Liu Shaoqi’s thought of keeping the purity of the party.
