Financial Management Issues In Running A Modern Enterprise Group

Whether enterprise group in our country can develop stately isan important issue of our country economy. But there are so manyproblems that deserve to investigate. Financial management, which isthe core of enterprise management, is the focus of all these conflicts.If we can design a rational financial management model in accordancewith problems existed in financial management of Chinese enterprisegroup, our enterprise group quality must be greatly improved.Based on financial management theory for enterprise group andassimilating successful experiences of foreign enterprise groupmanagement, the paper studies financing management, investment &control, profit distribution, financial supervision & inspiration systemand performance evaluation etc. according to the present situation inour country, and then design a financial management modelpractically.The paper presents establishing financial settlement center,which exist simultaneously with finance section, for financingmanagement. In addition, the functions and main tasks of financecompany are discussed. The paper also studies how to carry outinvestment management with making decision centrally and allottingpower properly, how to determinate investment strategy, and how tocarry out investment supervision & control. Moreover, supervisionsystem and performance evaluation methods for enterprise group arestudied as well.In the last chapter, the author explains how to use the resultspresented in the paper to analyze practical problems with a case ofDongfang Electronics Corporation, and put forward some advises,which are also useful to other enterprise groups.
