The thesis analyses the influence on the developing countries in the perspectivc of the theory of economic globalization. The economic globalization, a historical process of objective development, can trace back to the great geographical discovery. The tremendous changes have taken place in the development of thc world economy since the World War IL The era of economic globalization charactcrizcd by information technology and accelerated by high technology has already come, which greatly influences the pattern of world political economy towards multi-orientation development. The developing countries have won independence, developed in economy, gradually got rid of their destiny of colonial, semi-colonial countries or dependencies through a prolonged struggle against imperialism. But they have not completely got themselves free from the situation of being exploited and controlled by the developed capitalist countries. In the process of economic globalization, the developing countries are facing a severe challenge. Nevertheless, the economic globalization is an inevitable trend and objective need in the development of social productivity. Meanwhile, the international cooperation, hi-tech economy, and multi-orientation of the pattern of world political economy have provided the developing countries with opportunities of development.
