Product Data Management System Integrated E-commerce Environment

Recent several ten years,varioue computer application systems have been applicated more and more in Chinese enterprises,These systems have created big benefit and earned markets for the enterprises.But they brought about many independence utomated islands?with different forms of data storge and process,which separated the product developing process into many isloated stages.As the result,the data in various departments and every developing phase can not be administrated orderly,effectively,and real_time.. This hampered the effective implemention of the EC in the companies.According to this situation, this paper has studied PDM technique oriented to EC envirment, proposed a PDM integrated framework which be suitable for enterprises of our country.The main contents and contribution of this paper are as follows: 1. Introduces the developing of EC and discusses the PDM technique that is the platform of Internet and the difficulty of implement and demonstrates its feasibility. 2. Proposes the PDM framework oriented to EC envirment ,which is suitable for the enterprises in our country. Realizes seamless intergration of various computer applications and product data shared under the conditions of maintaining dataconsistence and safety. 3. Combines the application systems and the database systems preferably. 4. Builds up a product structure tree, which is a mapping of the physical configuration of the product. The users can get all information,such as product structure,materials,cost,technique requirements etc.,from the tree. 5. Creates a model of the enterprises role model based on role theory,which is the foundation of establishing multidisciplinary teams. 6. finally, discusses the developing of PDM technique. This paper proposes a perfect PDM integrated framework oriented to EC environment. The framework implements product data shared and maintain data consistence and safety at the same time.
