| In recent years, with the development of computer technology and communication technology, especially with the development and spread their combined result--Internet technology, banking is confronted with a new change now. Material currency is substituted by electronic currency gradually. The service of bank is beginning to be accomplished with computer network. A new banking operating style has developed rapidly, it is Internet Bank that utilizes computer and network such as Internet to handle work. Internet Bank processes the characters of less investment, more convenient, and more rapid. More and more banks are paying attention to Internet Bank. Internet Bank emerged in America first, the first Internet Bank is SFNB(Security First Network Bank) which was established on 1995,10,18. Then, Internet Bank has developed rapidly abroad, especially in the developed countries such as America, United Kingdom. Now in China, many banks such as Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Industrial & Commercial Bank, China Merchants Bank, have set up their own Internet bank branches. The golden age of our country's Internet Banking development will come in recent years. West Internet Banking have entered constant development phase, but in China it just made a start. In this article, the author will research and analyze the Internet Bank's present situation, realistic problems, development mode and suggestion. It may be contributed to make the development strategy of our Internet Bank. This article is divided into three chapters. It is analyzed with the theory of economics, banking, marketing and management. The research method include standard research and example research. In the first chapter, this section is introducing the basic theory of Internet Bank, it is the guide of the whole article. Chapter1 describes the concept and the characters of Electronic Commerce and Internet Bank, and the influence of Electronic Commerce's development for the emergence of Internet Bank. Internet Bank is the bank, which provides financial services and products through Internet. Finally, by contrasting the characters of Internet Bank with that of the traditional bank, the article shows that Internet Bank has many advantages to traditional bank. And it is the reason that we must develop Internet Bank in China.The second chapter focuses on the security problem in current Internet Bank. The security problem has seriously stunted the development of Internet Bank. The security problem faced by Internet Bank is not essentially different with that faced by traditional bank, but there is obviously different in the cause and consequence of security problem. In this chapter, the security problem of Internet Bank is divided into two parts: technical crisis and untechnical crisis. The technical crisis is due to the trouble on computer hardware, network, computer software, and so on. The untechincal crisis is laid the blame on another factors such as: competition of the same profession, morality crisis, laws crisis, etc. While analyzed the security problems that Internet Bank is faced with, the author put forward the suggestion to resolve the security problems. The last chapter probes into our country's own Internet Bank's present situation, problems, and development strategies. At first, the article analyzes the necessity and the possibility of Internet Bank's development in China, and describes the development state of Electronic Commerce and Internet Bank in China. Secondly, by contrasting the difference between domestic and abroad Internet Bank, the author make an inquiry into the development obstruction of Internet Bank in China, such as: the problem of credit card, the trouble of financial CA (Certificate Authority), and the traditional society convention, and so on.
