Such problems as ecological imbalance, environment pollution, resources shortage have constituted a more and more serious threat on the survival and development of human beings. Therefore, the ecological environment and the promotion of sustainability have been the focus to which human beings pay close attention. The UN has classified environment as equal important position of peace and development. The 21st century must be the century of environment protection. Every country and society make a more and more severe control on environment. Trade policies of every government have gradually become tools that provide better services for environment targets. The execution of environment trade measures which limit or prohibit import and export for environment protection goals has being increased and strengthened. These phenomena have gradually affected the normal development of international trade. For this reason, the international society has much concern with the environment and trade problem.As a biggest developing country, Chinese foreign trade undertaking are developing rapidly. But we must point out that our country has a very serious problem in environment pollution and ecological damage. Now, under the word's environment protection trend, our country's economic and trade activities are facing unprecedented chances and challenges. Therefore , complying with the whole world environment protection tide and exploring the advice for realizing our country's foreign trade sustainability has a urgent theoretical and realistic meaning.Currently, domestic academic circles and government executive departments research much in trade terms concerned with environment. But the author think it is not enough that only condemn the developed counties set green-trade barriers in terms of environment protection and try every means to avoid green-trade barriers. It starts with the effect on our nation's foreign trade that the internal and external environment protection situation had. And it elaborate the necessity of our nation's foreign trade sustainability in two ways of theory and reality. The author try her best to put forward some effective advice and measures for going a sustainability way for our nation's foreign trade.
