Towards Distributive Justice - Moral Thinking, The Income Gap In China

In our country, the gap of residents' income is becoming increasingly broad; the gap of the residents' income in northern, middle and western districts is broadening; the income in different trades is of great difference. In order to get over a series of social problems which are brought by the different income distribution, we should link the equity and efficiency together. Under the condition of the Market Economy, how can we make our best not only to improve the economic efficiency, but also realize the equity of distribution? On one" hand, we should try to avoid the utilitarianism trend which only goes after the economic efficiency and ignore equity; on the other hand, we cannot take the wrong way-"eat mess", which means distribute without differences. In order to distribute equally, we should, therefore, deepen the reform of microcosmic economy, we should link the principle of distribution according to work and the principle of distribution according to producer goods together, so as to achieve the rapidest economic development; in the field of macroscopic economy ,we should strengthen the government's control of income distribution to make the income distribution go with the law and the criterion ,and embody the fair of the economy and society.
