The Paper named the research on relevant questions of bribery is about 50,000 words. Aimed at a great many questions in this field, the author in this paper will make an overall and comprehensive exploration which covers the ancient and modern, the Chinese and foreign, the theory and practice. Besides the foreword it can be divided into four parts.Part One: the historical research of briberyThe bribery as an old crime has a history almost as long as the Chinese culture. The ruling classes of past ages in order to keep the social stability invariably in their criminal laws fixed the position of the universal corruption as crime. Moreover the corruption and degeneration were prohibited and punished by means of law. In this part the author will make a general introduction about the regulations and rules on the charge, punishment and classification of bribery in ancient China. Furthermore, the author will take Tang Liu as an example to make a systematic analysis of twelve briberies so as to expose the characteristics and regularities of Chinese ancient bribery. Through the study on this part the author hopes to critically carry forward the good traditions of law culture so that to improve the modern law system of anti-corruption.Part Two: the comparative research of briberyThe bribery is not only an old but also a world-wide crime. Owing to the various law tradition, the definition of bribery and other concerned conceptions in different countries have little in common. In this part the author will give a specific introduction about the stipulations of relevant aspects such as bribery charge and the classification. The author wishes to absorb these precious experiences of other countries in combating corruption so as to increase the strength of striking this crime and meanwhile to enhance the exchange between our national law and the international ones.Part Three: the research on the practical situation of the present briberyNo matter which way the author used in the paper-writing, the aim is the same that is to serve and inspire the legislation and execution of modern law. Thus, the author will make this part the focal point of the whole paper. According to the background of the current criminal law,the author is going to analyze the present characteristics and situation of China's bribery, explaining and introducing the judgement of bribery on one hand , meanwhile the author will put forward some personal opinions towards several controversial and unresolved problems. Through the study of these problems, the author hopes to devote some efforts to the bribery's improvement in our criminal law.Part Four: the research on resolutions of briberyThe study of bribery is eventually aimed to prohibit and root out this phenomenon. For this reason, the governments throughout the world have done numerous experiments and explorations, nearly running their wits. In this part, the author will depend on our current situation combined with the experiences of others bring forward some workable ways and methods to effectively strike this crime.This paper is the fruit of the author's observation and accumulation of the daily life. Naturally it has many deficiencies, the author is willing to cordially accept any critics and corrections coming from the experts and specialists.
