Venture of medium and small-scale enterprises holds a key status in the economic progress in our country and research in this field has become one of the hot topics in industrial circle and academic circle, but systematical research in the country and the world is still in the starting phase. The article analyses the development of medium and small-scale enterprises that is the basic driving force to promote the national economy, and then elaborates necessity and urgency of research in the field through discussion of road of venture in China. Taking a micro-perspective and looking outside from the enterprise, the article attaches great importance to the localization issue of enterprise management. Through case analysis, the article explores the development of medium and small-scale enterprises and the main obstacles in the process. Furthermore, it presents appraising standard, necessity and sufficiency of venture success. Based upon the above analysis, the article further clarifies that medium and small-scale enterprisers must take new strategic concepts. Then it illustrates that strategy selection in initiating business and molding core capacity are vital for venture triumph. This point of view is verified in the case analysis and subsequently, the way and method of building core ability by enterprise is discussed.
