The new change of world garment market has greatly influenced our domestic garment with our entry of WTO. This paper including four sections gives a careful research on the existing issues. It also puts forward the developing strategy for our garment export business.The first section analyzes present situation of our garment export business from 3 aspects: the history of garment export business, the market structure and the exporting products.The second section stands the opportunities and challenges our garment export business has to face, which was influenced by the new situation of world garment market.The third section states the advantage and disadvantage of our garment export business. It points out the comparative advantage as well as the weak point we meet.The last section puts forward the developing strategy and emphases for our garment export business: developing our own advantage to better our international competitive ability; further improving market structure; strengthening our ecological textiles; catching the opportunities of our entry to WTO; taking the necessary protective measures to promote our garment export business.
