| This dissertation is mainly about development of Shanghai airport's modern logistics industry in the tenth five-year plan.With the fast development of technology and management, industrial and commercial enterprise can do little to reduce cost in the field of production .However, there is great potential in stock, transport, storage, pack, agency, distribution out of production field. The key of the corporation's competition is changing from "the first gain source" of saving raw materials, "the second gain source" of improving productivity to "the third gain source" of building high logistics system. It is impossible for each enterprise to build logistics system due to the limit of scope economy. Then there is great development for professional logistics enterprise.The development of modern logistics and e- commerce provides aviation industry with great opportunity. The strategy of developing modern logistics industry as key industry has been adopted by shanghai municipal government in the tenth five-year plan. However, it is a new question for shanghai airport how to develop modern logistics industry making good use of its advantage.The dissertation contains six parts as follows:1, Review of the origin and development of logistics; the basic meaning of modern logistics; the difference between modern logistics and traditional logistics that contains economics background > service, management, specialization, information, socialization.2, Modern airport is not only a simple goods exchange place but also an important part of global logistics chain and becoming important facility of promoting and strengthening trade development increasingly. Big airlines have changed airline structure of point-to-point to that of hub-spoke. International airport tends to large-scale hinge and small-medium airport is facing more serious challenge for its limited spoke range and less lines. The subject of "the opportunities and challenges encountered by shanghai airport" sets forth the necessity of shanghai airportdeveloping into an international aviation hinge and the importance of changing shanghai into international economic center . Airport logistics center is the key base for PuDong Airport that will be Asia-Pacific International aviation logistics hinge.
