"pull A White Flag, Red Flag Inserted Movement

The Movement pull out the white flag and insert in the red flag in 1958, presented and launched by Chairman Mao himself, is the result of various integrating factors. The reason for the Movement is complicated and multiple. Its historical fact is rarely known by us now, so it is an initial thesis to do some research on it.The thesis describes the historical course of the start,development and conclusion of the Movement and tries to analyze the reasons, situations and influences . It aims to learn lessons from history, and to seek its interior rule of development and evolvement from its exterior forms. While developing the useful and discarding the useless in this movement launched in the 1950s because of the mistake of the leftist, it tries to take the positive elements out which are beneficial to enhance the construction of the CPC to better its servings today.The thesis tries to get a conclusion by according with the original form of the history while adhering to the fundamental materialistic history viewpoint. It analyses the facts by means of demonstration and do demonstrated research on historical data and facts. At the same time, it pays more attention to the integration between history and theory, while seeking the historical spirits and individuality behind the movement more deeply, reviewing the thinking track of Chairman Mao and the effect to the Movement by his participation in the Movement.The thesis mainly concludes the following parts: First, the explanation to the red flag and white flag. The thesis believes that the following elements are unavoidable to be noticed as we do the research on the reasons of the Movement: historical tragedy made by the ultimate goal; the origin of the idea both red and expert; the historical traditions of mass movement; poet personality hold by political leaders; the mental alteration to the intellectual ; the great influence made by the situation of the ages.As men living in the current age, we still lack the feeling of distance from this period of history, but it may give us a special angel of view. As this was concerned, the thesis tries to make an outline and clarification on the problems ,in an attitude of self-criticize and self-examination ,which exists in the development of Chinese society since the establishment of PRC, with an expectation of providing some illuminations for the future choices.
