Henan Province Urban And Rural Residents' Consumption Structure

The production aim of socialism is to satisfy people's increasing material and cultural needs .So, the consuming problem take up critical position in the whole national economy. After foundation of China, especially after reform, the living level of hihabitants in Henan province experience great improvement. People's need for live is not limited in dressing warmly and eat one's fill but developing to higher layer, and consuming propensity between different classes and different consumers are showing more great diversity.The change in the consuming field cause us to find that the only growth of consumable gross is not enough, and we must improve structure to satisfy people's all kinds consuming needs. But in fact, the unmatchable appearance between product structure, allocation structure, exchange structure and consuming structure is very serious which not only waste social resource but also hinder realization of product aim of socialism. For this reason, this thesis is aim to summarize the basic character and developing rule of our provincial inhabitant's consuming structural change through analyzing its historic evolution , affecting factors , current situation and main problems , and furthermore to lodge various countermeasures to improve inhabitant's consuming structure and make prediction of future consuming structure of Henan provincial inhabitants. The thesis includes five parts as followed:(1) In the first part ,we divide the change of Henan provincial inhabitants' consuming structure into two steps to research that is from year 1952 to 1978 and year 1979 to 2001.Also we use statistics to carry out analysis of eating, wearing, expensing and living items which preliminary reveal changing rule of our provincial consuming structure.(2)In the second part we analyze various economic factors and non-economic factors which affecting change of our provincial inhabitants' consuming structure in details and make emphasis analysis on income and industrial structure change's affection to consuming structure.(3) In the third part, we use ELES to analysis quantities relation among our provincial town and village's consuming structure, especially conduct careful research on marginal consuming propensity, demanding price and basic living need. Then we lodge current main problems of our provincial consuming structure.(4) In the fourth part, we first give guiding principle of reasonable consuming structure and its standards on physiology, economy and society and then lodge various countermeasures to promoting our provincial inhabitants' consuming structure on existing problems.(5) At the last part, we use method of econometrics to conduct regression of various statistics of near years' consuming structure and build regression model to predict our provincial 2005 year to 2010 year's consuming structure changes. Finally we analyze the result of prediction.
