Communist Party Of China's Women's Political Participation Thought

Women's participation in administration means that women take part in the management and social affairs,which is an important symbol of women's liberal level.In the long history of China, women losed all freedom and rights and became the objects ruled. The transient women's participation meant nothing but an ornament to "male politics" ,which didn't shake the foundation of male-oriented society. In fact, only through the lead of CCP,have Chinese women turned their wide participation in administration into reality. The lead of CCP makes a new epoch of Chinese women's participation.The thesis consists of three parts.Part I: The thoughts about the subject aboved can be divided into five stages: bud,forniation, initiative practice, meandering development and brand-new development. In the period of budding,the intellectuals with primitive communism ideas waved two flags, "democracy" and " science",to abolish traditional superstitious thoughts and spread Marxism and Leninism. What they did laid the solid foundations for the popularization of new women view. In the period of forming,CCP put forward the view that women's participation must be accompanied with class and nation liberation,pointed out the correct methods for women's liberation and promulgated the policies on promoting women's personality liberation. In the period of initiative developing,CCP further understood the right ways to emancipate women and enacted political program on women's problems.After the establishment of the PRC, women's participation came into its meandering phase. In the first twodecades,all kinds of women's rights were fixed by laws.But from the end of 1950s, women's participation was frustrated by the big-scaled political campaigns. After the 3rd Plenary Session of the 11th Party Congress,it entered a new period and made great achievements.Part II :Women's participation in administration is the choice of history and reality. To realize women's participation, we must insist on the basic principle of equality between the sexes, put great emphasis on the cultivation and selection of female cadres and establish and strengthen the leadship to Women's Federation, which are basic contents of CCP'S thoughts.Part HI: The thought of women's participation in administration which are formed during the process of CCP's struggle in 80 years are far from those in Chinese ancient times and feminist opinions in western countries. It has three characteristics. One is that women's participation is not propaganda, but actual participation. The second is that political tint is more important than social role. Thirdly, a good wife and mother has the same significance as success in career.
