Corporate lifecycles refers to the whole course of the corporation from its birth to death. The Corporate lifecycles can sequentially be divided into five stages as pregnant period, come into being one, growth stage, mature period and wane. The corporation faces different risks in different stages. The differences of the characteristics and state of management in different development stage, determine the different financing demand and mode during the corporation's different stage of lifecycles. Therefore account for this, banks have their own option when considering financing to the corporation.The credit market positioning of the commercial banks, is for clearing and defining the customers' market of the loan. And choose the opportunity of credit funds' advance and retreat according to the different risk degree of credit customers' market. The defect and insufficient of commercial banks' credit market positioning of our country is mainly at the present stage: credit trend has an excessive partiality for those ripe and big corporation, without credit tactics on the grounds of the characteristics of corporate lifecycles, and imperfect credit withdraw mechanism.Commercial banks should study and judge corporate lifecycles, regard lifecycles as one reference to the opportunity choice for advance and retreat of credit funds, choose customers' market according to the different stage characteristics of corporate lifecycles, in proper time getting involved in the credit and withdraw appropriately.
