.pki / Ca Inter-domain Cross-certification Model Study

With the coming of New Economy times of networks, information and globalization, E-commerce has gradually pervaded all fields of economic life, and security issues on Internet has been increasingly prominent. At present, PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) is the basis and core of network security construction, as well as the safeguard for the implementation of E-commerce, so that CAs (Certification Authorities) become the key functions of information security on networks. This paper aims at the characteristics and problems of technology, application and distribution on domestic PKI/CA construction, compares the specialties of different Cross-Certification patterns, exacts experience from domestic and foreign CA connectedness, and concludes the suitable Cross-Certification pattern for the facts of domestic PKI construction, which will achieve the connectedness of national PKI system.
