| This thesis illustrates how we can use UML with the tool Rational Rose to analyze and design a B2C web site BooksOnLine. BooksOnLine is an important part of the planned UIBE Best Course The Construction and Management of E-Commerce System. The development demonstrates a complete OOA&D course.UML provides us many useful diagrams. In this thesis, Use Case Diagram is used to discribe system requirements in the analyzing model, and Activity Diagram is used to flowchart the system activities. Interation Diagram and Design Class Diagram are used in the designing model, which give us a typicallogical plan for the B2C web site.In technical term, we develop BooksOnLine with JSP, and we design DataBase with SQL2000.
