A Regional Financial Center

The Regional financial center means that a center city where direct hinterland is in its area, the financial institution gathers , the financial market develops perfectly, financial transaction activity are frequent, and can produce the effect of polarization and diffusion to the regional economy. The forming of the Regional financial center will produce enormous function and influence on the development of regional economy and finance. But the present domestic and international study on regional financial center is still at initial stage, especially lack the systematic ness and integrality on theory of the regional financial center. Because the need of theory and reality, I selected Research of regional financial center as title of the thesis.This article is formed by five parts:1. Basic intension of the regional financial center.Defined the concepts of the financial center and regional financial center clearly, and explained the theory sources of two concepts. According to different standard divide the regional financial center, and analyze the function of the regional financial center.2. The condition of forming regional financial center.Modernized regional financial center with multiple functional condition and obvious function must possess the advantage conditions in many aspects, such as position, economic development level, financial structure system, legal and policy environment, human resources, etc.3. The influence of regional financial center.The forming of regional financial center should not only offer financial support for the expansion of the investment and economic development here but also function to rational disposition and economic development of financial resources in bigger range. This part mainly analyzed that the effect of the regional financial center producing to regional finance and function of the regional economy.4. Real example analysis of the existing regional financial center.Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, Guangzhou are four major financial centers. This part carried on the clear localization to each financial center, and analyzed that they produce function and influence as financial center, and gave different suggestion on building and developing regional financial center countermeasure.5. The ideas of constructing several more regional financial centers.Fund shortage is a common problem that development of western regions and the old industrial base of the Northeast must face to. It is to give play to the support function of finance, and bringing about the important mode of an advance in regional economy to construct regional financial center. Shenyang, Xi'an, Wuhan and Chengdu are all sites that the large district of the People's Bank of China, the development levels of the economy and finance are all higher in affiliated area. Constructing the regional financial centers is imperatively in these cities. This part has analyzed that the advantage condition of the constructing regional financial centers in these cities structure, and put forward effective countermeasure.Research approach: (1) Reference and extension of the relevant theory. The research of the regional financial center is still at initial stage, and the theoretical system is incomplete, so we should draw lessons from theory of relevant field in the course of studying, guiding and stretching it according to regional regularity that financial center study. (2)To combine the method of standardized analyze with real example together. When it comes to regional basic intension, form terms and analysis of function it reflects the standard method of financial center, while more analytic approaches of the real example are used to research a certain financial center.
