China and Korea established diplomatic relations in 1992. Since then, the China-Korea trade has developed rapidly in width and breadth. However, as the trade between the two nations extends, the competition increases, which leads to greater trade friction and trade gap. In recent years, the trade disputes have been on the rise, which has a negative impact on the expansion and health development of the China-Korea trade intercourse. Only when we approach adequate solutions to those problems, can our trade relation progress in positive cooperation and competition.Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the Korean investment in China has grown rapidly and China now has become Korea's biggest investment destination. The Korean investment to China develops fast, with the amount continuously rising, the level of project sum gradually elevating and the invested regions expanding from costal areas to the inland. Comparatively, the Chinese investment to Korea is great in number but relatively small in sum. Upon investment the Korean enterprises should learn more about the direction of the Chinese economic development and the preferential policies and services that are provided to attract foreign capital, so as to make pointed choices of the regions and projects to invest in accordance with the regional development planning and the individual characteristics of the enterprises and finally approach to the win-win situation.Since the early 1990s, the Chinese economy has developed fast; the economy scale has expanded rapidly and the demand has increased greatly. A free trade area between China and Korea is significant to both countries. To sum up, there are a great number of positive factors for China and Korea to enlarge cooperation, especially in resources, labor force, industrial structure, commodity market, capital and technology, etc. In additional to the special geologic link, the two nations are made to be close partners. The cooperation between China and Korea in trade and economy should be brought into a new phase, on the basis of principles of equality and mutual benefit, advantage complement, genuine teamwork and side-by-side development.
