Foreign Direct Investment In The International Competitiveness Of Chinese Industry

China has achieved tremendous successes in absorbing foreign direct investment since the reform and opening . The foreign direct investment has influenced the development of China's economy; meanwhile it has also profoundly affected the international competitiveness of China's industries. This thesis, based on theories of foreign direct investment and international competitiveness of industry, deeply analyzes the influences of foreign direct investment on the international competitiveness of China's industries by the methods of qualitative and quantitive analysis, general analysis and case study. It affirms the accelerating functions of foreign direct investment on the international competitiveness of China's industries. To the existing problems in this field, this thesis finally puts forward several policy proposals to enhance the international competitiveness of China's industries by utilizing foreign direct investment efficiently.
