With the implementation of economic development strategy, deep ?seated contradiction in the economy which has been long accumulated shall be exposed on another aspect, and structure problem shall be more outstanding. Industrial structure contradiction has become serious obstacles for the economic sustainable development in China. Foreign direct investment (FDI) is one of the important factors which caused the problem of industial structure. Up to now FDI has become an important part in the Chinese Economy, especially for its industy development. FDI has different percentage on different industies, and has caused great effects to china's structure adjustment. After the World Trade Organization (WTO), China's market will be integrated with the global one, industy growth will also be developed in the world area. The new effects will be brought by the FDI to China's industry growth and its structure adjustment. This paper studies these effects in details, then presents some reform industial measures to use FDI in the new economic environment.
