The Supervision And Restriction On The Top Power

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, especially after the open-door policy was adopted, some governmental officials, particularly those who are heads of governmental of officials cannot resist the temptation of power, money and women, abuse the power in their hands and sell influence for personal gains. Such occurrences have greatly damaged the image of our party in the mind of the masses and caused losses to the interests of our country and people. Therefore, reinforcing the supervision of governmental officials, particularly those who are heads of governmental of officials at various levels is of paramount importance.This thesis attempts to ascertain the channels and means for supervision and check of power through analyzing the causes of over-concentration of power, proposing the centrality of supervision instead of punishment in preventing and reducing corruption and in guiding governmental officials to properly execute their power invested by the people as well as in enhancing the cohesion, creativity and combativeness of CPC for it to truly honor its commitment of government for the people.
