With the unification of the world's economy and the acceleration of China's opening strategies, today's multinational corporations and their Foreign Direct Investments draw more and more attention both from the academia and other parts of the society. Since the day on which China became one of the largest host of FDI in the world, the motivations of FDI and their impacts on the host countries have aroused much common interest. This thesis covers the following topics as the globalization of FDI, the motivations of FDI's entering the Chinese markets, the status quo of China's exploitation of FDI, and the possible advantages and disadvantages of utilizing FDI. Basing on these discussions, the thesis tries to do some useful exporations on the political techniques to develop the positive impact while to be on guard of the negative impact of FDI.
