In this article, Uigur and Kazak relation in terms of properties, contents and other deep reasons in Kelamayi is discussed during the current process of urbanization. Uigur and Kazak are two of the most typical and classical nationalities in Xinjiang. From the perspectives of their historical formation process, different ancient tribes such as Sai, Kesa, Huihe, Turki and Mongolian were all the possible ethnic groups acting as the factors of the now Uigur and Kazak. Both these two nationalities underwent the converting processes of Turki and Islam with differences. Uigurs resided in the South of Xinjiang engaging in Oasis farming and agricultural economy, while nomadic Kazak stockbreeding around the basin area in the North of Xinjiang, which a close complementary economic relation inter-waved between them.After the founding of new China PRC as well as the exploration of Kelamayi oil field, both Uigur and Kazak of their lives changed from the farming and the nomadic economies to petroleum industry, of their occupations changed from farmers and herdsmen to workers. Meanwhile, the relation between them changed as well.In terms of the content in this article, first of all, the author, from the historical perspective, described the formation of Uigur and Kazak and their relations.
