People will have a reasonable expectation of the degree and scope of administrative compensation if the scope of it is clear. Both of these can help to dissolve the antinomy and settle the dispute. This essay will study the scope of administrative compensation.This article consists of four parts.The first part analyzes the basic theories of administrative compensation and the scope of administrative compensation. The first section mainly discusses administrative compensation from the point of its development and the evolution of its concept. The writer proposes his viewpoint after comparing the different opinions on the concept of administrative compensation of domestic and foreign scholars. The second section briefly discusses the meaning of the scope of administrative compensation and the means of studying it. Then the author brings forward the three aspects which this article mainly studies. They are the scopes of subjects, objects and causes for administrative compensation.The second part discusses the scope of subjects. It begins with the analysis of the basic structure of its subject. Then the author introduces the regulations of the scopes of subjects for administrative compensation in China and its drawbacks. Two proposals are offered inthe last section.People differ a lot on the theory of object of administrative compensation and the correlative laws are ambiguous.
