The commence and termination of hire in the practice of time charter will be arisen by delivery and redelivery which are two crucial step in the coarse of enforcing a time charterparty and with which is liable to result in dispute if it can not be well dealt with. According to existing regulations, the time charterparty mainly complies with the rule of autonomy of the will so as to it is characterized by practicality, flexibility, complexity. This thesis try to offer some ideas to our parties in the process of signing and fulfilling charterpaties by ways of analyzing those questions which often occurred in the practice during delivery/redelivery and by the approaches to combining with models of time charterparty, seeking out the questions from where and drawing lessons from the general modus operandi in the west countries. Not chasing all questions concerned, but I try to solve practical problems. Therefore, I mostly discuss with five aspects in this thesis as follow:1. The responsibility of seaworthy while delivering under time charterparties. Regarding this question, there are more discussions under liner shipping but less under charterparty. I separate this subject into two stages and three situations and analyze the responsibility both Charterers and Shipowners under different situations beginning with the quality of this issue.2. Delivery/canceling clause. This part dominantly construe the relationship of delivery/redelivery clause with seaworthy and common dispute under canceling clause, covering the notice of readiness, time limit about canceling right and interpellation clause.3. The last voyage. Mainly discusses with the obligation of Chaterers in respect of indicating legitimate last voyage and bring forward the advice of modification as to our MARITIME CODE in this section .4.
