| The abstraction principle is the soul of negotiable instrument circulation, and the development trend of the negotiable instrument system. Various modern countries carry out the principle in their legislation. Confused attitude has been taken to the abstraction in the negotiable instrument legislation of our country, which has difficulty in applying to it. The article elaborates the abstraction principle and compares it to the concepts and the systems which are related to it. The writer analyzes the current situation of negotiable instrument legislation in our country on the basis of consulting the foreign one and put forward some corresponding suggestion on perfecting it, and hopes that the negotiable instrument legislation will be more scientific and international, and conforms to the united trend of the negotiable instrument legislation. |
