The appreciation of signature or the real writing time of the documents was one of the most important content in judicature appreciation by reason of the appearance of documents fabricated or sophisticated in civil dissension, criminal, economical cases. The detection of dyes in inks and the classification of inks was the basis of the appreciation of writing time. Nowadays, the method of ink detection was very much and the application of chromatogram was more popular than others. Non-aqueous capillary electrophoresis (NACE) was one of the most important branches of capillary electrophoresis, which was more and more popular in medication analysis, the separation of chiral compounds, environment detection. Many chemists at home and abroad attached much importance of NACE. It was tried to detect dyes in inks and classify the ballpoint pens on the basis of dyes in inks.In chapter one, the recent advance of the research of NACE was introduced and the history, the basis theory and the purpose of NACE.were summerized.NACE discrimination of blue ballpoint pen inks was introduced in chapter two and the classification of less than 100 blue ballpoint pens was achieved according to dyes in inks.Chapter three discribed NACE discrimination of black ballpoint pen inks, and two buffer systems was tried, the concentration of buffer solution, voltage, temperature, the effect of the extraction method and the sample amount were studied. In chapter four, the difference of the discrimination of ballpoint inks by NACE and HPLC.were summered. In last chapter, the appliance of NACE in the analysis of ink was summered.
