Democratic Parties In The Fight Against Corruption

Generally speaking,where there is power,there is corruption.Because of the historical tradition,cultural formation and social construction,corruption has been a serious problem in China.Moreover,China is currently in the primary stage of socialism,so the socialist market economy has taken shape initially and there is still a long way to go in social reform.Influenced by world multi-culture and different values,people hold different ideas,values and interests,which make corruption more serious in China.In recent years,many achievements about anti-corruption were scored theoretically in academic world.Based on these achievements,a series of policy and legislation was made to regulate officials' behavior.However,corruption is still increasing though the CCCCP has paid the most attention to the work of anti-corruption and intensified the efforts to fight and prevent such phenomenon.As we know, ours is a system of multiparty cooperation led by the communist party,so there are quite different characteristics in anti-corruption compared with other countries.Democratic parties have on their shoulders the responsibility of assistance and supervision in fighting corruption.With the development of reform and economy,some new circs and characteristics of corruption are presented and we are facing a grim and perilous situation.As a result,the establishment of a scientific and perfect mechanism of supervision becomes a major task of the party in power.And it should be studied earnestly how democratic parties fulfill their responsibility,help and supervise effectively the anti-corruption work held by the party in power.From this angle,this article developed the study and discussion of Law Sociology.
