At the present time,China is in the period of social transformation for deepening innovation and ulteriorly consummate social market economy and to roundly build well-to-do society and to push the development of social modernization.At the same time,international situation is deeply changing as multipolar world situation and economic globalization expand,accompanied with science and technology changing with each passing day and general national power gradually competing impetuously.Undergraduate values have got increasingly affected by Western Values showing negative aspects because of the infection from the development of international politics and economy and culture in this special period.Aiming at the problems above,this article discussed the problems through bringing related knowledge of ideological and political education,philosophy,sociology,psychology and so on.to bear, basing on enhancing education about values for college students in the guidance of Marxism,Mao Zedong Thoughts,Deng Xiaoping Theory and "Three Represents" Ideology.The article begin with analyzing present values for college students from the points of connotation of values for college students and the characteristic of them,emphasizing the cause of negative characteristic of values for college students,thus to consider the recent negative values result from the conflict of values for college students arose by the introduction of western values.Then the article conclude that individualism is the core of western values by analyzing the idealistic foundation,value object,means to carry out and mechanism to restrict in the system of western values.Subsequently,the article discussed the influences which western values bring to values for college students by the numbers.On the basis of works above,the article bring forward the countermeasure to reply to the aggressive western values,which include persisting in being guided by scientific theories,paying attention to actual effect of educational means and scientific educational mechanism, strengthening teams of college teachers and so on.
