The Problems Faced By Rural Ideological And Political Work Under The New Situation And Countermeasures

The party's Ideological and political work in rural areas,both in the revo-lutionary period and periodes in the building played an extremely important roles,reflected the political advantage of our great party. As an imortant con-tact and communication link between the rural grassroots party organization and the broad masses of peasants,Ideological and political work in rural areas is an important ties between the panty and masses. It is also an imortant guarantee to implement the Party's rural policy in the countryside and prmomote the rural e-conomy and society's development harmoniously. However,in the proess of the further develoment between the verious reforms and the market economy in the rural areas,the political,economic and soial areas are exposed a series ideolog-ical problems which do not match the economic and social develovment. This is a severe challenge for the Ideological and political work in rural areas. To ad-dress and resolve the problems effectively,first of all,we must understand the problems and inadequates in the ideological and political work of rural areas. We must anilysis the special reasons. The current problem was concentrated in the two areas. First,the rural party members and cadres are lack of comprehen-sive knowledge and understanding about the ideological and political work in ru-ral areas. Second,the content,methods,and its operating mechanism of ideo-logical and political work in rural areas are not suited to the current rural situa-tion. The specific performences are here three sides. The contennt is not on lags. The mathods does not have a clear targete and the mehanism is not per-fectly flexible. To addressing current critical issues effectively,strengthening and improving ideological and political work in rural areas is imperative. On the content,to adapting to the new situations and new requirements in rural areas, we should strengthen people's current education about politics,science and moral areas. On the methods,we should adapted to the characteristics and needs of the peasant masses and we should have more democracy ideas,and fo- cus on the diversity and flexibility of approach. On the mechanism,we should further improve the organization and leadership mechanism of the ideological and political work in rural areas.we should set up and implement a series of specific mechanisms which including the responsibility system related to leader-ship,the contacting with the masses initiatively and mechanisms for evaluating, rewarding,inspecting and security. Standardization and institutionalization of I-deological and political work in the rural is our ultimate goal. We will be zealous to succeed at the ideological and political work in the rural areas to launching, guiding and raising the masses.
