As China's religious traditions vary among identifiable ethnic groups, economic levels, cultural identity, funeral forms and the natural environment in which the different nationalities have formed their own distinctive burial practices. For example, Oroqen, Ewenki Tree Burial in the wind funeral; Manchu, Korean, Daur, Hezhen and other family burials; Tibetan, Mongolian, Yugur and other family burial practices; Islam Hui, Uygur, Sarah and other no coffin burials; the Monba who have water burials and so on. The funeral customs demonstrate a recognition ceremony at the end of all ethic groups' life, the crystallization of national sentiment, maintaining the national consciousness, and the essence of human culture as a cultural imprint.Since February of 1985, the State Council issued the first Chinese funeral management and administrative regulations, "Interim Provisions on the funeral management", after 10 years the Ministry of Civil Affairs has developed more than 20 funeral administrative regulations and regulatory documents. Parts are also under the "Interim Provisions" of the spirit of practical work with local funeral practices and have developed local funeral regulations. In order to strengthen the funeral management, promoting funeral reform and to promote socialist spiritual civilization the State Council on July 11,1997 adopted the "funeral regulations laws." Beyond the level of the funeral management laws, especially for the "Nanjing funeral regulations for Hui and other ethnic minorities" and "Hui and other ethnic minorities in the Kunming funeral management approach," the promulgation and implementation, to respect and protect minorities, especially in respect of Funeral Customs and to protect Islam, the Hui, Uygur, Kazak, Kirgiz, Uzbek, Tajik, Tatar, Salar, Dongxiang and the security of the burial customs of the 10 ethnic minorities to provide a strong legal basis. However, the protection of our country's funeral habits for minority status is not optimistic. Facing ethnic minorities'funeral venue planning, management of severe, and uneven levels of minority employment in the funeral homes, the lack of professional knowledge, with service at a low level, and having minority funeral management systems that are not perfect, there are practical difficulties including such things as regulatory loopholes. And protection of customary norms of legislation of Ethnic Funerals are inadequately protected, regulation of funeral customs for minority laws which are imperfect and to deal with other regulations and legal difficulties. To this end, there has been a strengthening in the funeral practices; the legal protection of ethnic minorities, in addition to speeding up the protection of minorities'burial customs harmonization of legislation related to the introduction of these laws, it should also strengthen the leadership over the work of minority funerals, strengthening planning and management of Moslem cemeteries, strengthening minority reforms of the national funeral industry. As well as, enhance the training of ethnic minorities and funeral professionals to improve their professional standards, enhance the level of the industry in minority and other funeral services. Through various ways and means to respect, protect minorities, particularly ethnic Hui Muslims and other funeral customs, pool their national feelings, maintaining their national consciousness, and to strengthen their national identity.
