Vector approach to geometry problem is that the secondary school mathematics teaching reform of a relatively large number of parts involved in the content, teaching practice shows that this approach has many advantages, there are many problems. The use of vector methods, can help students understand the relationship between the number and shape to grasp the problem dealing with algebraic geometry methods, and foster Shuoxingjiehe thinking ability in order to in the application of mathematical theory to solve practical problems is more flexible. However, the vector method also has its shortcomings, it is to lose a lot of geometric intuition. Difficulties in reconciling the various demands of teaching practice through analysis of the problems accumulated study and explore a realistic idea of teaching. In this paper, the problem of the vector approach to geometry changes in the structure of knowledge brought about a comparison, then the vector approach to the problem embodied in the geometric and algebraic geometric intuition to express ideas and linkages between them has been discussed on the vector approach to geometry problem solving the problem of students to analyze the positive and negative effects were analyzed.Case of teaching and research can not be separated. In this paper, the vector approach to plane geometry, analytic geometry, three-dimensional geometric analysis and comparison of a typical case study, discussion and analysis of high school mathematics geometry teaching geometry problem dealing with three kinds of methods:algebraic methods, traditional methods, integrated the advantages of each method and problems, and learning ability of students to cultivate mathematical implications.
