According to the development history of mathematics curriculum in our country, the cognition about geometry content and structure system has always been the debate hotspot of mathematics course reform, and it has influenced the stability of curriculum to a certain extent. Mathematics Syllabus for Students in Full-time Ordinary Senior Middle Schools (1996) carried out the system of compulsory courses, restricted elective courses and arbitrary elective courses.2 projects (A and B) has been carried out in solid geometry, Project B increased the content of space vector than project A, which promoted solid geometry transform to algebra and geometry integration gradually. Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Senior high School (2003 Experimental Manuscript). In the choosing the content of solid geometry, angle and distance in space are arranged in elective series 2 and solved with vector method.Using vector theory to solve middle school geometry problem is a big change in the content of senior middle school mathematics curriculum, which initiated discussion widely. This article combined teaching practice, used documents research, comparison research, investigation research ,to study vector method in the curriculum of high school solid geometry from 3 aspects, In order to supply some evidences for vector theory merged into geometry curriculum.This text thinks that in the process of using synthesis method to solve problem, the mathematics thinking process of viewing operation and deductive argumentation experienced by middle school students is benefit to train the student's logical thinking ability. while vector method possesses the specialty of concise and efficient, make geometry problem algebraical,helps the students achieved the development of mathematics. From the investigation, we found the students who practiced master synthesis method about solid geometry primary could accept the vector method easier. Hereby, we must pay more attention and strengthen to the study of synthesis geometry during senior one, the aim to study vector geometry during senior two is making students realize use algebra method to solve geometry problem and understand geometry rules more profound and essential.
