Tennis is one of the P.E. optional subjects. It is popular among the students in university. With the full implementation of quality education and curriculum reform for basic education,how to update today, how to innovate teaching method and how to play students'independency and cultivate students' innovative ability are the focus of our education. In August 2002, national ministry of education officially promulgated and implemented the national ordinary university physical education curriculum teaching guidelines "explicitly pointed:" Teaching methods should pay attention to individuality and diversity, promoting multilateral mutual interaction between teachers and students,between the students and the students.So that it can strive to raise the enthusiasm of the students and maximize the creativity of students.They Should fully exert students' main roles and teachers' leading role and effort to advocate the open, probing into type teaching "[1]. Based on information technology, the exploring teaching mode embodies the "outline" guiding spirit, conform to the education and quality of new curriculum reform to promote the concept of the new curriculum, the development of the reform of positive significance.At present, widely used in ordinary colleges PE elective classes teaching form, the traditional "YiTu teaching method for teaching, seriously hindered the students' playing of the subjectivity, innovation ability and exploratory ability. As a part of the curriculum reform,Ordinary university physical education curriculum is imperative to break the traditional teaching methods. Acorrding to "health first" guiding ideology, enlightened through going to talk, consulting a large number of documents, the author will base on the modern information technology means of introduction to a research-based teaching mode in the experimental research, tennis teaching in order to change traditional the situation, teacher-student relationship and student passively accepts, to make students become more active in creative thinking and to make their inquisition ability get development; to Make the class atmosphere more strong, the effect of classroom teaching more prominent. It will continue to stimulate students'interest in tennis, cultivate students' innovative ability and the cooperation spirit, so as to constantly cultivate student's lifelong sports view. It will be better for college tennis elective course teaching clothing for the current affairs in good tennis teaching theory and practice of teaching tennis to provide a scientific basis for reform.This research mainly use a literature data method, expert interviews, questionnaires and the teaching experiment, through the teaching experiment to got a lot of data using statistical software to SPSS 15.0 analyzed data processing, conclusions are as follows:first, through the teaching experiment examination, in universities' elective course,using Information technology-based tennis exploratory teaching mode can built vivid,lively and independent studying atmosphere, Effectively stimulate the students' strong interest in learning tennis and cultivate the students' knowledge of the inquiry learning of consciousness and ability, so it makes the students' learning initiative and enthusiasm get effective development. Second, through the teaching experiment examination, in universities'elective course, using Information technology-based tennis exploratory teaching mode causes the student to have the knowledge they learned more thorough understanding of action, the more reliable skills. It also cultivates the students' self-study, from practice, self correcting learning habits and mutual learning ability, greatly reduces the master correct tennis technology, skills time and improves the learning efficiency. Meanwhile,it realized tennis teaching optimization. Third, through the teaching experiment examination, in universities' elective course, using Information technology-based tennis exploratory teaching mode can strengthen the students' ability of theory with practice, cultivate the students' ability of observation and mutual correction for students,at the same time it can also adapt to the later teaching work and social environment to lay the foundation. Fourth, the students'cognitive survey results show that using Information technology-based tennis exploratory teaching mode increased students' studying and communication opportunity,enhanced students' cooperational consciousness, and promote the students' social adaptation ability effectively develops. Fifth, in ordinary colleges'elective courses, using Information technology-based tennis exploratory teaching mode to teach tennis is feasible...
