Inquiry teaching is the core of course reformation and inquiry ability carries on a greatly important path of the education for all-round development.Inquiry ability is a kind of means that people investigate natural problem and social regulation and usually include ability of ask queations, the ability for collect data, the ability of hypothesis, the ability for experiment, the ability for science reason logically and expression exchanges.The biology academics is an important part in science education, also equally take an important part in development of students'biological scientific literacy which is an important constitute part in scientific literacy.The inquiry teaching of Science already nearly have the history of a hundred of years, the period experienced many times of rise and fall, many reasons maybe cause these results.Because they did't comprehend the inquiry teaching and the nature of science very clearlily.We promote inquiry teaching and learning from 2000 when we start the foundation educational reformation in our country.The idea of inquiry teaching has already gone deep into the publics and it's already carried out in each kind of school.But the time which we spend on research inquiry teaching is so little that our theories of inquiry teaching mainly came from other countries.Do our own research must be each teacher and what student expect, it is also the urgent mission of each researcher.The inquiry teaching based on teachers as much as students.The process of inquiry teaching emphasizes students'activity and their own experience.The purpose of inquiry teaching is to trains the student's creative ability.Based on previous research.We concluded the nature of science include the following regulations.First,science based on evidence. Scond, the scientific knowledge is produced from the observation of science phenomenon with experiment.Third,the scientific conclusions come from mankind's creates.The fourth is that we can make an assumption according to our previous knowledge and experience.The fifth,there is no authotity and absolutely truth in scientfic realm.The sixth, scientific conclusions are not absolutely objectivity,they may be influenced by culture and scientists'ideas.The seventh,there is no constant methods to solve science problems.even the same problem should be resolved by different methods.The eighth,cooperation is very important in science research,researchers can exchange their minds by cooperation. From the classroom observation we can found that the inquiry teaching has already gone deep into publics.But because of various of reasons,there are shortages such as science and maneuverability.we must learn the ability of inquiry teaching and learning,and change teachers'and students'ideas which become from long-term traditional education.To establish a trueer scenario for inquiry is as important as to help student to ask questions.Then we must use exchanges and cooperations in inquiry experiment.The last we must have an opposite and perfect evaluation system.Expect to pass above suggestions we could provide a little meaningful reference for teachers in inquiry teaching and offer a little meager contribution for foundational course reformation.
