A Study On The Present Situation Of Contemporary College Students' Sexual Morality

Today’s China is in a period of dramatic social transformation, the original singlemainstream culture is replaced by multiculturalism, eventually leading to human valuesand ideologies structure more diversified. The influx of western culture willundoubtedly have a major impact on the formation of outlook on life and values ofundergraduates whose ideology in a volatile period.Sexual morality is an important part in socialist morality as a constraintspecification to adjust the human sexes sexual ethics. Sexual morality concept ofundergraduates has an impact on future mainstream social morality which cannot beunderestimated, related to the success or failure of the socialist moral construction.Guiding students to establish a correct concept of sexual morality, which promotes theimprovement of socialist morality, but also benefits to conduct a socialist andharmonious society.To study the sexual morality of contemporary students, we expanded thequestionnaire study to collect further data through “online and offline”, combined withthe related research results. The result indicates that there are lots of questionsincluding weak responsibility consciousness, improper degree between the sexes, anddeficiency of Sex moral education. It is our responsibility to solve reasonably troughpromoting the level of comprehensive school education, constructing new pattern offamily education, mining potential value of social education, and exploiting inherentadvantage of self education. Strengthen the moral education of undergraduate, guidethem to establish good moral values, and norm their sexual behavior fundamentally todeal with the relationship between the sexes rationally.
