Research On The Space Of School Moral Education

This paper attempts to rethink the school moral education by the perspective of social space. In this paper, the use of space follows Lefebvre’s idea: space is generated by humans’body activities, it means that space is intentional and political. Moral education in schools is not only influenced by forces from all aspects of school space and society, but also the moral education space have an impact on the behavior of actors in space.It allows us to obtain a more comprehensive vision by the perspective of space to taking care of school moral education, breaking only from the perspective of an objective or subjective space environment to think about the limitations of the school moral education. School space is similar with moral education space in space range. In order to investigating conveniently, school space is divided into a fixed space according to the degree of flexibility in school space can be adjusted, fixed space, semi-fixed space and variable space.In the mixed space of moral education space, the author examines the role of school buildings to construct the moral education space and the reflection of the moral education’s situation; in the semi-fixed space, the author examines the spatial structure and the reflection of moral education space by the spatial structure; in the variable space, the author examines the moral education practice in the body space, for example, moral education activities、moral education management and the teaching of moral education. On this basis, the last part of the article summarizes the ways of space production, explores the relationships among the two modes of production, and notes that an inclusive mode of the space production is an effective way to achieve the reproduction of moral reform.
