Vocabulary is the basis of English, as well as the difficulty of students who are learning English. It is a worthy problem that how to use information technology to improve the effect of vocabulary learning for primary school students in current informationization teaching. This study designed the multiple interactions among teaching content,students and teachers in MOODLE platform in order to promote the understanding and memory of vocabulary for students and to realize the effective combination of learning content and process.From the perspective of instructional interaction, the paper which relied on the MOODLE platform was for a study of vocabulary learning. In reference on the related literature, this study expounded the relationship between MOODLE, the instructional interaction and deep processing of vocabulary and carried out the design of the interaction,the implementation and the evaluation of teaching based on MOODLE. The design of the interaction included four aspects:interaction between teachers and teaching contents, students and teaching contents, teachers and students,and between students. The instructional activities which carried out in Bai Yunyuan primary school for grade five students in a year are divided into four stages:preparation, autonomous learning, collaborative learning and summarizing. By analyzing data from the MOODLE and combining with vocabulary test, the author evaluated the level of vocabulary processing and instructional interaction. The results showed that interactive teaching had a positive role in promoting the vocabulary retention of students, interaction between teachers and students contributed to the deep processing of vocabulary and in the process of vocabulary learning, students’ vocabulary gradually changed from the breadth to the depth of vocabulary.There are two aspects of the value of this study. At the practical level, it would provide a certain reference for designers who use MOODLE platform for interactive teaching; At the theoretical level, it would improve the ability of using information technology to construct the methods of learning vocabulary.
