The object of this research was high school students at Nonkho School, in Northeastern of Thailand. This study aimed to find out the suitable teaching strategies according to students’ Chinese learning behavior and culture. Meanwhile the researcher also has probed deep-seated cultural reasons why those teaching strategies are of high effect, and put forward some teaching examples and teaching enlightenments.In the first chapter, the author has implemented questionnaire about Nonkho high school students’ learning behavior. Conclusions draw from the questionnaire are:Their learning behavior generally has showed a high power distance, while teacher-student relationship in the classroom also has showed equality; Their learning behavior overall has exhibited collectivism, but they can accept individual assignments; On the aspect of classroom performance, achievement, and self-evaluation they have showed masculinity, while in the area of favorite job and teacher, they have showed femininity. About study content they have showed high uncertainty avoidance, while about requirements for teacher and performance attribution they have showed weak uncertainty avoidance; Their Chinese learning purpose tends to short-term value-oriented.The second chapter, final conclusions have drawn from the questionnaires and interviews are:High school students in Thailand prefer alternative, collective, cooperative, structured content and interesting teaching strategies.The third chapter has explained the reasons why students in Thailand like these five teaching strategies and has drawn teaching inspiration through practice:alternative teaching strategies and interesting teaching methods are very necessary and effective for Chinese Zero-based students in Thailand; Collective learning based personal learning supplemented, cooperative learning based competitive learning supplemented, structured content based question of content supplemented teaching strategies are appropriate for students in Thailand.
