Especially,without Yao Ming in Chinese men’s basketball team, the team lost their direction. Forexample, In Asian championship in2009, Chinese men’s basketball team came second, loss toIran.t In the Olympic Games in London in2012, the Chinese men’s basketball team did notwin one of5matches, so ultimately disastrous retreat, In2013years of Asian championship,the Chinese men’s basketball team got the fifth rank-finally it was the most results. Theproblem at Post-Yao age in Chinese men’s basketball team is explosing, and there is anoticeable difference between World’s and China’s basketball.This study adopts the method of literature study, video observation, mathematicalstatistics, expert interview and logical analysis, as the research subject of technical andtactical style of the Chinese men’s basketball team, to analyse the relevant data of theopponents and the Chinese men’s basketball team in the15thworld championships, the16thworld championships, the29thOlympic Games, the30thOlympic Games, on the basis ofstudying the general theory and its development stage of the technical and tactical style ofChinese men’s basketball team. The results show as following:In the terms of Chinese men’s basketball players, physical confrontation ability is poor,strain capacity and tactics level is insufficient, in the whole team, offensive and defensiveability is weak.The Chinese men’s basketball team is insufficient in technique level and no guidelines intechnical and tactical play, no more than the style.In the Post-Yao Ming period, Chinese men’s basketball team style: to form the wholebasketball style with Chinese distinguishing feature in the basis of having the sturdy basicskills and rich tactics system--"against strong teams, tenacious style, collective cooperation,fast and accurate" and using the guidelines for tactics and training with " fast, flexible, andmainly focus on accurate, vigorously promotes the force and against the strong team". put forward the some viewpoint as following:Firstly, on the basis of inheriting and developing the Chinese traditional tactics, thedevelopment of Chinese men’s basketball team must keep up with the development trend ofthe world basketball, take example by foreign advanced technology and tactics which shouldconform to the reality of our country, give priority to themselves and prominentcharacteristics.Secondly, Clear scientific guiding ideology for training, and earnestly put into practice intraining and competition, to make sure technical and tactical style of China men’s basketballteam was established in the Post-YaoMing period.Thirdly, to hire coaches reasonably according to the reality of our basketball sports andtechnical and tactical style of China men’s basketball.Finally, to strengthen the cultivation of reserve talented person.
