Study On The Development Strategy Of Chinese Men’s Basketball Team In "Post-Yao Ming Times"

On the basis of reviewing the development history of Chinese Men’s Team, with the combination of quantitive and qualitative research methods, The paper briefly analyzes the main characteristics of technique and tactics, advantages of Chinese men’s basketball team during the game, and the changing process of guiding concept of development of Chinese men’s basketball team in different stages by using various methods of document analysis, video observation, mathematical statistics, comparative study, logical analysis, etc. The paper suggests the development strategies of Chinese Men’s Team in the ’Post-Yaoming’ stage:1. To follow the tendency of basketball sport in the world, which is fast basketball, strong basketball, team-play basketball and undesignated basketball;2. to establish the guiding concept of Chinese Men’s Basketball Team, which can be summarized as "building team play, balance of offense and defense, fast, high and harmonious basketball, unique characteristics;3. To set the short term ans long term goal of Chinese Men’s Basketball Team. The short term goal is to ’Rush out of Asia, be a world team’ and the long term goal is to ’return to the top8standing and become a world leading team;4. Focus on resolving four difficulties the team suffers. The critical point for the revival of the Chinese Mens’ Basketball Team is to make efforts and resolve the problems of strengthening rebounds, effectively cracking the pressure defence, improving the competition level and make the guard position stronger.
