Teacher professional development has been the trend of international teacher professional development. With our country’s elementary education curriculum reform enters into the deepwater area ", the teacher’s professional development is facing new challenges.Researching on teachers’ professional life is a new way to solve the dilemma of teachers’ professional development. Therefore, in this paper, based on the xi’an questionnaire survey of167high school history teacher, and the xi’an10different stages of teaching, different regions, different gender typical teacher’s individual interview,this article investigate and analyze the living conditions of xi’an of history teachers from basic professional life status of teachers, teaching conditions, research status and the status of reading, individual career planning five aspects.The thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter expatiates the background and significance;The second chapter introduces the research methods of selection, design,implementation of study plan and recover the data of the survey analysis;The third chapter, based on the questionnaire data, the author analyzes the condition of xi’an history teachers’professional life;The fourth chapter,according to the individual interview feedback, the author analyzes the xi’an typical history teachers’ professional lives;The fifth chapter, on the basis of analysis of the questionnaire, the author find the four major problems of xi’an history teachers’ professional life and put forward some suggestions.The author found some thought-provoking phenomenon in this survey, including four aspects:first, the rural teachers have more leisure time, but they have low demands on their own professional development.comparing to them,urban teachers are contrary. Second,old teachers pay more attention to teacher’s professional development than the young teachers.Third, the teachers’ compulsory behavior more than spontaneous behavior on the education scientific research.Under the condition of the teachers’ lack of reading and reflection, the compulsory research requirements become the burden of teacher development.Fourth, Professional development of teachers shows "External heat within the cold".On the teachers’ professional development, the government impetus, but the teacher are lacking of initiative.Multifarious administrative evaluation and unequal professional evaluation have been the important reason of teachers’ losing on the way to the professional development of teachers.Overall, xi’an history teachers’ present professional life is still in "survival" level.The three themes of teacher’s professional life:learning, thought, teaching, failed to get the coordinated development, teachers are generally in a state of overdraft.In the current situation,making the teacher get professional development, the author thinks that: first, we should release the teachers’ burden.For example,reducing teachers’ workload and the administrative intervention for teachers’ work, setting aside time to teachers. Second, we should stimulate the teachers’ professional development drive.Through the interviews to the typical teacher, the author found out that the main driving force of the development of the professional are their own requirements.And these are also accord with the theory of teacher development.Third, we should create a loose atmosphere and the space of free thought for teacher’s professional development.Do not use the management of the factory to request a mental faculty.
