Teacher professional identity is the self-identification of the teacher's occupation,which includes the teacher's high value experience and positive attitude evaluation.Teachers' professional identity reflects the degree of acceptance of the profession in the heart of teachers,and also reflects the teacher's life status and the social living environment of a country's teacher group from the side.It not only affects the effective implementation of teachers' education and teaching work,but also affects teachers' work experience and attitude.Junior middle school history teachers are the guides for students to learn history knowledge for the first time.The implementation of the new curriculum reform has put forward higher requirements for history educators.This requires history teachers to have a higher degree of recognition for their professions.Stimulate the enthusiasm of junior middle school history teachers for teaching,and make people tireless and willing to give.Studying the professional identity of junior middle school history teachers can identify and solve the factors that affect their negative development on the basis of understanding the status of their professional identity,and guide the front-line history teachers to self-reflect,re-examine their professional attitudes and values,and find themselves positioning,in addition to calling on all sectors to pay attention to the issue of professional identity of history teachers,is also a starting point for this study.The focus of this research is to understand the basic status of junior middle school history teachers' professional identity.Throughout the research process,research methods based on questionnaire surveys and data analysis methods,supplemented by literature analysis and interview methods are used.From the six dimensions of professional cognition,professional values,professional emotions,professional belonging,professional will,and professional expectations,the first-line junior middle school history teachers in Zhoukou area were investigated,and six teachers from 2 schools were interviewed.From the analysis results of 161 valid questionnaires,it can be seen that the vocational identity of junior middle school history teachers in Zhoukou area is at a medium level.The age and teaching age of junior middle school history teachers show ups and downs in various dimensions of professional identity.The location and nature of the school affect the professional identity of junior middle school history teachers to varying degrees.According to the in-depth analysis of the survey results and interviews,it can be found that the current junior middle school history teachers' professional identity has the following problems: professional will is not firm;male teachers' identity is lower than female teachers;junior high school history teachers' professional value experience is not high;some teachers lack subject confidence.Finally,it puts forward highly operable solutions to the above problems. |
