In recent years more and more educators pay their attention to the physicspreconception study. And the physics preconception changing is deemed not only thefocus of the educators but also an important part to improve the efficiency of theclassroom construction. Therefore, the main purpose of this thesis is to propose someappropriate teaching suggestions by investigating the physics preconceptions ofjunior middle school students.In order to survey the states of the physics preconception of the junior middleschool students author first compile a questionnaire based on previous studies. Asample including310students from Xishan District TuanJie middle schools, XishanDistrict Haikou JianLin schools, Beijing Normal University Affiliated KunmingMiddle School and Yunnan Normal University Affiliated Mengzi Middle School isthen selected. Author analyze the survey data to know if there are some discrepanciesin physics preconceptions between boy students and girl students, rural students andurban students as well as minority area students and non-minority area students. Theconclusions are summarized in the following.1、There are not significant differences between boy students and girl students,rural students and urban students as well as minority area students and non-minorityarea students.2、There are some wrong preconceptions in the understanding inertia, forceconception, force and motion, how to see the objects using our eyes, how to image inthe plane mirror, and force analysis.Author put forward the following teaching suggestions based on the wrongpreconceptions in the junior middle school students:1、Strengthen the connection between the junior middle school physics and theprimary school science curriculum.2、 Educators should strengthen the learning of theoretical knowledge ofadvanced education.3、More students should experience the processes and methods, attitudes andvalues in the classroom instruction. 4、Students should often consolidate physics concepts.5、Teachers should internalize smoothly students’ new knowledge into their ownknowledge systems by making full use of existing knowledge in the minds ofstudents.Finally author take the force for example to discuss instruction model based onthe cognitive architecture.
