With the rapid development of science and technology, talents have become the key factor in enhancing international competitiveness and the comprehensive national strength. Education shoulder the important mission of the national revitalization and the social progress. Based on this background, a new round of basic education reform began. Teachers are the subject of education reform, because of the new round of curriculum reform, teachers are proposed a new and higher requirements. Pedagogical content knowledge as teacher’s professional knowledge has important implications for teachers’ professional development, it is also an important basis for evaluation of teachers capabilities.Through reading and analyzing large number of literature, many domestic foreign scholars and front-line education teachers has been studied PCK from different angles, but there is still insufficient. Therefore, in order to promoting the localization study, taking the Newton’s laws of motion for example, we through the survey methods of interviews, text analysis, concept maps and classroom record research the gaps of pedagogical content knowledge, between the beginning teachers and the experience teachers, trying to explore effective ways to promote the high school physics teacher PCK early growth.Thesis is divided into a total of six chapters, Chapter 1 is the Introduction, it explains the background of the study, defined the overall process and identify the major issues of the study. The second chapter is a literature review. Through accessing and analyzing large number of international research articles of PCK, it summarizes the inadequate of existing research and indicates he value and significance of the research. The third chapter is the preparation of the research. Based on the theories of the PCK, it through interviews and surveys determines the research element of the study, introduces the circumstances and student samples. The fourth chapter is the main content, it analyzes the difference between the beginning teachers and experienced teachers, then find out the difference. The fifth chapter is the conclusion and recommendations of PCK for the beginning teachers. The last is reflection and outlook, due to the limited time and energy, there are still many deficiencies in this issue and I hope that I can continue to do more in the future.
