It is always said that,the empress of natural science is mathematics and the cro-wn of mathematics is number theory;that is why number theory is hold of an importa-nt part of mathematics.Though the basic theories of number theory are always easy t-o learn,the related subjects are challengeable and need more skills and effort.However,during the learning,students may gain more than the knowledge itself,something like adeeper and broader mathematic view,enthusiasm,etc.So,it is understandable that people i-nclude number theory subjects in big tests like college-entrance-examination.Based on the reality that students couldn’t get a systematic knowledge of number theory from te-achers,this paper tries to figure out a way to help teachers and students solve this tea-ching and learning problem.Research methods like document research,compared research,historic research were used in this study,which,can be divided into three main parts.The first part,emphasizes the importance of number theory in math-teaching and learning,in the major development,talent fostering of math;The second part based on literature and personal learning experience,tries to find a way for middle school math-teaching and learning:what and how number theory should be taught and learned;The last part attempts to build a bridge between high school and college number theory teaching and learning,also,to better the teaching and learning.
