The paper is based on concept of teaching and earning of the function as the main line, consisting of three aspects:the teaching material, student, teaching three aspects.Through investigation and study, this paper aims to sum up and analyze the common problems of the local students in the understanding of the function concept and circumstances of teaching, and then design the plan of teaching, in order to provide reference for improving pattern of teaching in our local schools.lt is mainly divided into four parts:(一) Comparing and analyzing of the primary and high content of teaching materials relating to functions, in order to find joining point of high school function concept,so that complete the transition well. The author Mainly analyzes three aspects:the teaching content,teaching requirements, teaching classes.(二) Analyzing misunderstanding of students about concept of function. The author prepares the student questionnaire, in order to understand the problems arising from students about understanding of function. It turns out that there is not significant difference in the degree of the grasp of function concept between the regular class and the major class students from collecting and analyzing the data. The author mainly analyzes four factors of influencing the learning of students about function concept:the concept, the function level of students’ thinking, teaching material, teachers teaching.(三) Analyzing teaching of teachers. There is two parts:firstly, the author prepare questionnaire to investigate the math teachers of teaching in the first grade in high school; secondly, analyze typical teaching cases of the function concept.Results from questionnaire by the students and teacher, the author puts forward the teaching suggestion:(1)paying attention to the teaching of the function teaching; (2)strengthening the ability of the application of the function; (3)being combined with the history of mathematics to teach students.(四) Based on above mentioned results of researching and relationship between teaching and learning, the plan of teaching of function concept is designed.
