Since New Curriculum Reform, classroom questioning has become an important way to realize teacher-student dialogue. However, there is always a gap between students’actual ability and educational objectives which gives rise to students’ inaccurate answering. If factors can be analyzed appropriately, it will be possible to change mistakes into resources. Therefore, an effective questioning is not only determined by how excellent the question is, but also determined by teacher’s after-treatment to students’answer, in a word, teacher’s behavior of feedback.According to classroom observation, the study gave a preliminary description of the phenomenon, students’inaccurate answering, and found out that the influencing factors came from both teachers and students. Teachers still faced contradictions and difficulties when dealing with this problem, which made their feedback not specific and effective enough. Thus, how to resolve the contradictions and overcome the difficulties is the core of the study. On the basis of early classroom observation, literature review and interview with certain teachers, the study analyzed and categorized the reasons behind students’inaccurate answering, and concluded the main types of feedback that teachers use, their reasons for certain feedback and their thinking process of it. By analyzing the findings of observation and interview and combining related literature, the study proposed the principles of giving feedback:the principle of humanity, the principle of creativity, the principle of heuristic, and the principle of efficiency; it also proposed the pattern of teachers’behavior of feedback, that is identification, extracting, implementing, feedback and concluding, explained the influencing factors at every stage, presented teachers’behavior of feedback through concrete cases, and analyzed its rationality, so as to put forward some suggestions for improvement. The study will provide references to teachers’behavior of feedback, as well as related reflection and evaluation of it. It will help teachers have a better judgment on students’mistakes, so as to give targeted feedback, optimize the quality of classroom questioning, improve students’enthusiasm of answering questions, cultivate their thought, and finally realize efficient class.
